Where to put your QR code
- In your welcome book, linking to your website and your local tips.
- Near the entrance, so guests can easily find your place again later.
- On a business card left in the property, so guests can recommend it to friends.
- On flyers at local shops, the tourism office or local events.
- On any printed material: signs, magnets, posters.
Best practices
- Print it large enough: at least 3 cm (about 1.2 in) per side for easy scanning.
- Keep a light background and a dark code, it scans most reliably.
- Test it with several phones before printing in bulk.
- Add an inviting line, such as “Discover the place and the area”.
- Use a link that won’t change, ideally your own domain name.
The QR code included in your PageOptimus website
Every PageOptimus website includes a print-ready /qr/ page. Its QR code opens your website, and every scan is counted separately in your analytics: you know exactly how many visits come from your printed materials.
